Shot list

Below is a shot list showing all the shots we would like to use for our music video. Thislist will help us plan what we are doing in terms of filming our music video.


·         Lots of close ups of bands expressions and singing/playing

·         Lots of close ups/cut in of instruments being played

·         Pan of about 160 degrees showing the entire band

·         Extreme Close up of volume being turned up in the control room

·         High angle pan of band from crane camera

·         4 shot/mid shot/wide shot showing all band members walking down the corridor

·         Medium close up of each band member

·         4 Shot/mid shot/wide shot showing all band members posing for photo shoot (showing the camera taking the photos and the lights flickering from the cameras

·         High angle close up of guitar being played

·         Two shot/medium close up of two band members singing/playing guitar together

·         Extreme close up of microphone

·         Canted tilt/medium close up of guitar being played

·         Wide shot/medium long shot of instruments and equipment being set up for the time lapse

·         4 shot/wide shot/medium long shot showing the entire band and their instruments/equipment

·         Medium shot of drummer playing the drums

·         4 shot/medium shot with the singer bassist and guitarist standing together playing/singing and the drummer in the background playing

·         Close up of 1 band member or 4 on a mac editing video with headphones on

·         Low angle shot of the guitar

·         Tracking shot of the camera following Jamie into the dressing room

  1. Great evidence of organisation of actors/ props.

    Good research into similar texts. Terminology is very strong.

    High Level 3 at the moment.

    To become a Level 4 get some more storyboards up here (e.g. a drawing for each of these shots you have detailed).
